FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES Information Sessions
In April 2017, Deaconess Foundation will unveil our new funding strategy - Just for Kids - to advance child well-being in the St. Louis region. There will be three information sessions to learn more about Deaconess' funding opportunities and the theory of change that informs them. During these meetings, participants will learn about our funding opportunities, critical dates, and get answers to your questions. Registration is required to ensure a seat at one of the sessions – register soon to reserve your spot as space is limited.

#GetOnTheBus with Deaconess Foundation for Child Advocacy Day
We are called to protect and advocate for the most vulnerable population among us, and the urgency of that call is particularly felt in these challenging times. Join a community of parents, children, and professionals that value the health and well-being of every child, and are dedicated to each child reaching their full potential with no barriers to their success.
In Missouri, 268,000 children live in poverty, and more than 100,000 of our children do not have health insurance to cover their medical needs.
On April 6 at the Missouri State Capitol, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Meet with your local legislators
- Attend workshops
- Rally with others from around the state on behalf of children
A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided at no cost. Buses will leave at 6:30 AM and return at 5:00 PM from sites around the St. Louis metro area. Together, we can remind our legislators that in Missouri, CHILDREN are our best investment. Registration has closed.
